  I was referred to Bryan Abbott by a mutual friend, when I mentioned I had a sterling silver dinner set for sale. I call Bryan, and made an appointment for him to come to my home. After determining the quality of the silver set, plus some sterling silver bowls and plates, he weighed them on his digital scale, and made me a generous offer, which I accepted on the spot. He wrote me a check for the full amount. My landlady was observing the transaction, and said, "Don't go just yet, Bryan." Then she brought out a collection of sterling ware that was her mother's, and voila! another happy customer!
  This was the first of several transactions to follow during the past year, which included several paintings, a few prints, folk art, some photographs and more silver.
  I have found Bryan Abbott to be extremely knowledgeable in all areas of art. And he is very personable, and pleasant to deal with, and he is honest---a pretty unbeatable combination.
  He has my enthusiastic recommendation.
