  I was really beginning to be a little fearful of climbing the stairs in my 2-bedroom home. I'm 78 and have some balance problems. However, I refuse to move out of my house until I absolutely can't do it anymore. A friend in Seattle told me about the Acorn stairlift she'd installed in her home about a year ago and how it gave her so much more freedom. I looked for a stairlift Los Angeles dealer and found one. After his visit to my house, I decided the investment was worth it and installed an Acorn lift about 6 months ago. I feel like I've added at least 10 years to my time in my lovely house.
